Website privacy and visit counting
This website uses a small first-party counter to compare rendered homepage visits and booking-link clicks from two campaign videos. There is no LinkedIn website tracker or advertising-consent popup.
What we count
After the homepage document is ready and visible, its script can send one landing_rendered event to this website. Activating either booking button can also send a booking_cta_click event. Each sends only a schema version, its event name, and allowlisted campaign and video labels. Missing, duplicated or invalid campaign labels are recorded as unattributed. The server adds a UTC date and increments a daily total. Both booking buttons contribute to the same daily click total per variant. We do not count completed bookings or activity on other sites.
Visits are rendered documents, not unique people or sessions. Clicks are button activations, not unique people or appointments; repeated activations can add counts. Reloads and revisits can add another visit; privacy choices, blockers, failures, bots and copied tagged links affect the totals. Fast clicks before counting is ready or page exits can be missed. Counting never delays booking navigation. We do not retry failed counts or promise complete or fraud-proof attribution.
What the counter does not retain
The application stores daily aggregate totals only: UTC day, campaign, variant, event and count. It does not retain raw visit or click records, full URLs, referrers, IP addresses, user agents, names, contact details or advertising identifiers. It creates no tracking cookies, visitor IDs, fingerprints or user profiles. Counts are not forwarded to advertising networks. There is no public dashboard; exports are restricted to the owner through authenticated administration.
Your choice
Global Privacy Control and the opt-out below turn both visit and click counting off. You can also use the control below or in the homepage footer. The opt-out preference is stored in this browser’s local storage, with a session-storage safeguard, not a tracking identifier. Preferences are specific to the browser and hostname, so set them on both the apex and www sites if you use both. Clearing storage can reset the choice. Counting stays off when preference storage cannot be read, when JavaScript is unavailable or when the counter is disabled by the operator. Opting out does not undo an aggregate count already received.
Retention and infrastructure
Active aggregate storage keeps today and the preceding 89 UTC dates. A scheduled daily cleanup removes older dates; accepted counts also prune old dates. If scheduled cleanup becomes stale, counting stops. Restricted exports must follow the same 90-day rule unless a separate retention period is approved for a final aggregate report. Cloudflare’s disaster-recovery backups may retain deleted aggregates for up to 30 additional days.
Cloudflare hosts and protects the website and runs the collector and database. Hosting necessarily processes your original request URL, IP address and headers in transit, and provider security or operational systems may process or retain request information under their own policies. Application minimization does not mean the infrastructure never processes this information. We do not enable optional application request logging or Cloudflare’s separate Web Analytics beacon for these counts. Fonts are served from this website, without a Google Fonts connection.
Booking and prior advertising data
Booking links open Google Calendar, a separate service with its own data processing. This counter does not observe appointments or send campaign labels to the scheduler. Browsing and booking work without optional counting.
The site attempts to remove only its old advertising-consent preference and accessible LinkedIn identifiers. A prior rejection is carried forward as a visit-counting opt-out. This does not erase information previously sent to LinkedIn, remove cookies on LinkedIn’s domain, or retract requests from a page already open before this release. Reload an old page to receive the new version.
